  • FIELD GRADE CHECKED BOX

    This is my double sided field grade box call. It is available in many types of wood combonations. Features a hand check 5 square pattern on the box and lid. Also features contrasting inlays on box and lid. Wood suggestions are Poplar, Butternut, Mahogany, Basswood, Holly, and Maple others are availble on request. Lid suggestions are Walnut, Purpleheart, Maple, and Cherry. I can add more checks to the box as per your direction for a additional cost.

  • PRAIRIE LONG BOX

    This is the Long Box of choice for many hunters both for sound and size. It is 11" long and 1 3/4" wide at the paddle. Lots of sound. You can really pound out some loud yelps for locating birds on a windy day or tone it down a bit and call that big Tom to the gun. Thats the beauty of this call. If you are unsure of how to use this type of call just drop me a line and I will make a tape of how to use it. Using the call I built for you so you will know just what to expect from your call and get the most sound out of it!

    I recommend the Mahogany Box and the Walnut lid, thats the one I use, but other combo's work well too. Butternut, Poplar, Cedar, Spruce along with Black Walnut, Red Cedar, Purpleheart, and Osage Orange lids. Can be tuned to raspy or clear sounding yelps.
